This one-of-a-kind statement necklace features a set of my handmade sky blue beads, decorated with soft cream and beige murrine chips. Each glass bead is flanked with signature gemstone clusters of smokey quartz, pale translucent blue chalcedony, sparkly white silverite beads, echoing the colours in the glass, each wired on its own handmade silver headpin. The clusters are interspersed with beautiful smooth chalcedony beads and creamy baroque pearls.
The necklace is finished with a silver chain and closes with a handmade toggle clasp. The necklace measures 45cm (18") and has been hallmarked by the Birmingham Assay Office, in accordance with UK law for the sale of precious metals.
I have named this piece 'Seaside' as the colours are reminiscent of a pale sandy beach, calm sea and summer sky.
