Shipping and Delivery
How long will it take for my jewellery to ship?
I aim to send all parcels out within 2 working days of payment. If you need something more quickly, send me an email and I’ll do my best to help. At the moment times may be a little extended due to the coronavirus pandemic, but if there any delay I will let you know.
You will receive a confirmation when you place an order and a shipping notification and tracking information when your order has shipped.
All pieces will be wrapped in tissue paper and placed in a box or an organza bag. I also bubble-wrap for extra protection when shipping.
How much is postage?
I send everything via Royal Mail: Signed For® 1st Class or Special Delivery for the UK and International Tracked and Signed (where available) for to the rest of the world.
UK: Orders up to £49 `are sent Royal Mail Signed For® 1st Class: £3.00. Orders over £50 will be sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm® and will be delivered next working day: £7.00. Free shipping for all UK orders over £80.
Europe: All orders will be sent Royal Mail International Tracked and Signed. Orders up to a value of £49: £9.00. Orders over £50: £12.00. Free shipping for all European orders over £100.
Rest of the World: All orders will be sent Royal Mail International Tracked and Signed. Orders up to a value of £49: £12.00. Orders over £50: £15.00. Free shipping for all orders over £150.
Any additional charges applied after sending by international customs or postage services are the buyer's responsibility.
How long will it take for my parcel to arrive?
Royal Mail aims to deliver UK First Class post in 1-2 days and Special Delivery the next working day before 1pm.
The aim for International tracked and signed for items is 3-5 days for Europe and -7 working days for the rest of the world, although it is likely to be taking longer at the moment, due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Do you accept returns?
Yes! If you change your mind for any reason, you may return your purchase for a full refund or shop credit. You have 14 days from receiving your parcel to confirm you want to send something back. Please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange the return.
I don’t accept returns on custom-made or commissioned pieces but will happily make adjustments to these items if the size is not right.
Do you pay for return postage?
If you return an item, I will refund any original postage costs you paid, but you will need to pay for return postage costs and any customs charges applied by your country.
You must obtain proof of postage for anything you return. If you opt for a refund, I will refund your payment via the same method you paid, within 14 days of receiving the returned item, or within 14 days of receiving evidence the item has been sent back.
What happens if my parcel gets lost in the post?
I use Royal Mail tracked and signed for services for most items but if your purchase is lost in the post and does not arrive, I will refund your payment. Posting times will depend on where you are and the postage service you choose, but in all cases, parcels should have arrived within 30 days of shipping. If you have not received your parcel by this time please email email@example.com, including your proof of postage, and I will arrange a refund.
What happens if my jewellery is damaged in the post?
I make every effort to package items securely, but if your item is damaged in the post, you can return it and I can either repair it and resend to you, exchange it for something of equal value, or you can return the item for a full refund.
Please take a photo of your damaged parcel and email me at firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange the return and/or repair.
What do I do if my jewellery needs to be repaired?
I want you to stay in love with your jewellery and am happy to repair any damage due to our defects for the lifetime of the product. To request a repair please email email@example.com
How do I take care of my jewellery?
The metal I use in all of my jewellery is sterling or fine silver. It may tarnish over time, but it can be cleaned with a polishing cloth. I don’t recommend using a commercial liquid jewellery cleaner, especially on pieces with gemstones or pearls, which could be damaged by the liquid. When you are not wearing your pieces, I recommend you keep them in a jewellery box with anti-tarnish tabs or wrapped in acid-free tissue.
Do you take commissions?
I’m happy to discuss commission requests for pieces that are of a similar style to my existing work. I ask for a 50% deposit for custom work, with the balance to be paid before your order is shipped. Please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss your ideas.

Posting links and pictures on your social media is fine, but please do link back to my site if you do that.
