These long, statement earrings feature a pair of lemon yellow lampwork beads created with a silver-laden, speckled lustre glass encased to give them an iridescent, etherial shimmer. Clusters of lemon quartz and iridescent rainbow moonstones with their characteristic blue flash, sit on top of the glass beads. I have wire-wrapped a pair of smooth teardrop lemon quartz briolettes which hang below.
All the wire is sterling (92.5%)or argentium (93.2%) silver and the dangles hang from a pair of my handmade silver hook earwires. The silver has been oxidised to a dark, gunmetal grey to provide a contrast with the pale stones and glass.
The earrings measure a total of 7.3cm (3") from the top curve of the earwires to the bottom of the briolette drops; the dangles themselves measure 5.8cm (2.3").
