By the Stream

By the Stream features three barrel-shaped beads made by Kaz Baildon of Cheeky Cherub with organic, swirling patterns in shades of green - like looking down into a stream with fronds of water plants waving in the current. I have wire-wrapped each glass bead and linked them with small and large silversmithed rings into a chunky chain. On the rings between the beads I’ve added clusters of green-toned gemstone beads to compliment the colours in the glass: spring green peridots, shaded grossular garnets, sea green apatites and olive green vesuvinites. The bracelet measures about 24cm (9.5") and closes with a sterling silver hook clasp which hooks into the handmade silver chain at the other end so the length can be adjusted to fit your wrist. This bracelet has been hallmarked by the Birmingham Assay office and bears my maker's mark, the Anchor for Birmingham and 925 - your guarantee of the fineness of the silver (Sterling silver must have at least 92.5% silver content).
