This statement necklace features a set of dark blue-purple beads, flecked with peachy pink, deep turquoise and black speckles encased in clear glass, each bead topped and tailed with handmade sterling silver bead caps. The beads have been formed into a strand with coordinating pearls and gemstones - deep peacock blue purple and cranberry red pearls and ink blue iolite and shaded pinky-red spinel gemstones. The centre-piece of this necklace is a large, handmade sterling silver bead, flanked by clusters of more gemstones that compliment the colours in the glass: iolite, spinel, pale blue aquamarine and deep purple amethysts, all individually wired on their own silver headpins. The necklace closes with a handmade sterling silver big toggle clasp. It has been hallmarked by the Birmingham Assay Office with my maker's mark, the anchor mark for Birmingham and the 925 sterling silver purity mark, in accordance with UK law for the sale of precious metals.
